(sabasports report) According to the Sun, Harry Maguire spoke about playing time in a recent interview.

If Erik ten Hag continues to limit Maguire’s playing time to around one game a month, then Maguire will need to speak to the club about his future. Maguire played the entire game in United’s 2-1 win over Brentford last Saturday. But the reason why Maguire can have a chance to play is because a number of United defenders are currently injured. If players such as Varane are fit, then Maguire will continue to return to the bench.

Maguire said: “I can’t play one game a month all the time, now I will focus on the two games for England. Then I will focus on getting back into the club game, I will focus on getting a place at Manchester United and trying to help the team get back to where we deserve to be. I believe in my ability and every player on the bench should believe in his ability. I think I’m still an important part of the club, I just haven’t been playing as well as I’d like to, so I just need to make sure I take my chances when they come my way.”
