[Saba Sports News] The Belgian Football Association
has officially stated that fans that had purchased tickets for Belgium’s match
against Sweden will be eligible to purchase tickets for the upcoming match
against Serbia at a reduced price. The decision comes after a tragic incident
that occurred on October 17, where two Swedish fans were shot and killed near the
stadium. As a result, the match between Belgium and Sweden was halted after the
first half. Although the first half ended in a 1-1 draw, it was determined that
the match would not be replayed. In response to the circumstances, the Belgian
Football Association has introduced a compensation plan for the affected fans.
Those who had bought tickets for the Belgium-Sweden match will have the
opportunity to purchase tickets for the Belgium-Serbia warm-up match at a
discounted rate. The warm-up match is scheduled to take place on November 15.
