[Saba Sports News] In the second round of the
Champions League group stage, Galatasaray secured a 3-2 away victory against
Manchester United. However, during the match, some Galatasaray fans engaged in
disruptive behavior, including setting off fireworks, throwing objects onto the
field, and damaging facilities at Old Trafford. As a result, UEFA has imposed a
significant fine of €51,500 on Galatasaray and has also required the club to compensate
Manchester United for any related damages. Additionally, it was reported that a
considerable number of tickets were purchased through plug-in programs and
resold on scalper websites, leading to many Galatasaray fans obtaining seats
designated for home team supporters.
