[Saba Sports News] In the third round of the Champions
League group stage, Manchester United emerged victorious with a 1-0 win against
Copenhagen at home. The standout performer in this match was Manchester United
goalkeeper Andre Onana, who made a crucial save during stoppage time to deny
Copenhagen’s penalty kick. Alejandro Garnacho also played a part in the penalty
situation. While most of the Manchester United players surrounded the referee
to protest, Garnacho stood alone at the penalty spot. He intentionally
disrupted the turf by repeatedly stepping on it, aiming to make it uneven and
affect the quality of the opponent’s penalty kicks. As a result, Copenhagen
forward Jordan Larsson’s penalty kick was saved by Onana. Manchester United
secured an exhilarating three points, and Garnacho’s actions contributed to
their victory.
