[Saba Sports News] Spanish media reports indicate that
the current President of La Liga, Tebas, has submitted a proposal to the board
of directors to introduce performance-based bonus regulations in order to raise
his annual salary from the original 2.1 million euros to 5.47 million euros,
provided that all criteria are met. Upon the implementation of the performance
bonus regulations, Tebas would be eligible for additional bonuses. If
successful in securing an annual salary of 5.47 million euros, Tebas would rank
among the highest-paid executives in Spain. This raise would exceed the average
annual salary of presidents of major Spanish companies by 56%.
