[Saba Sports News] Last week, the football community
mourned the loss of the legendary Manchester United star Sir Bobby Charlton,
who passed away at the age of 86 after battling illness. Numerous commemorative
events were held across the UK to honour his memory. Regrettably, a few
individuals with extreme views took advantage of the situation for disruptive
purposes. During Manchester City’s Premier League match against Brighton last
week, some Manchester City fans were heard chanting derogatory remarks directed
towards Bobby Charlton. There have been recent developments regarding this
incident. Manchester City have identified the individuals involved and
subsequently banned them from attending any future home or away games. The
police have also taken action, gathering video evidence and arresting one of
the individuals, a 17-year-old male, who has been charged with breaching public
order.
