[Saba Sports News] According to reports from US media,
shortly after Lionel Messi announced his move to Inter Miami, Adidas received
an impressive number of nearly 500,000 jersey orders from sporting goods stores
and suppliers. Messi’s jerseys quickly became the top-selling item in the
United States. It is stated that on the day Messi revealed his decision to join
Inter Miami, the existing stock of jerseys across the country seemed to vanish
rapidly. In fact, within 24 hours of Messi’s official announcement, Adidas had
already placed a significant order for the pink fabric required to produce the
jerseys. Initially, Adidas had promised retailers delivery before October 15th,
and the first batch of jerseys sold out almost instantly upon their arrival in
the United States on July 18th. Presently, Inter Miami’s jersey is the
best-selling Adidas jersey in North America, surpassing the popularity of
jerseys from renowned clubs such as Manchester United, Real Madrid, Juventus,
Bayern Munich, and Arsenal.
