[Saba Sports News] During Brazil’s World Cup
qualifying match against Uruguay last week, Neymar sustained an injury that
forced him to leave the field. Subsequent medical evaluations revealed a torn
anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee, necessitating surgery
and a projected absence from play for at least six months. Surprisingly, this
serious injury did not deter Neymar from participating in card games. In recent
reports, Neymar took part in the “Tritans Event,” an online poker
competition organised by PokerStars, where he secured the second position and
earned a prize of $66,000. It’s worth noting that earlier this year, Neymar
engaged in a live online poker game after undergoing ankle surgery in March, as
part of his promotion of the poker game associated with his endorsement.
