[Saba Sports News] Eddie Nketiah, the Arsenal
star, made his debut for the England national team in a recent warm-up match
against Australia. However, he was not selected to play in England’s European
Championship qualifying match against Italy. As a result, Nketiah’s eligibility
to represent Ghana remains intact. It is known that Nketiah’s parents were born
in Ghana. According to FIFA regulations, Nketiah has not participated in three
matches for England before the age of 21, nor has he played in official competitions
such as the European Championship or World Cup. Therefore, he is still eligible
to play for Ghana and can potentially compete in the African Cup of Nations
scheduled for January next year.
