[Saba Sports News] Kagiso Rabada took his talents off the field, hilariously delivering a beach pitch report ahead of the second Test between South Africa and the West Indies in Guyana.
After a solid performance in the first Test in Port of Spain, where he grabbed four wickets, Rabada gave fans a glimpse of his broadcasting skills.
Dressed in Caribbean attire, he humorously analyzed how a cricket pitch might behave on the sandy beach, noting the potential for variable bounce and extra turn for spinners due to the humidity and soft sand.
In the first Test, Rabada surpassed Jacques Kallis’ Test wickets tally, reaching 295 wickets from 63 matches, making him South Africa’s sixth-highest wicket-taker.
Despite South Africa’s dominance, a gritty 92 from Alick Athanaze and frequent rain interruptions led to a draw.
Fans are now eagerly awaiting the next clash in Guyana, starting Thursday, August 15.
