[Saba Sports News] Team India delivered an impressive performance over the first three days of the ongoing Test against Bangladesh.
After posting 376 in the first innings, they restricted Bangladesh to just 149. India’s second innings saw solid batting overall, despite early failures from the top order, with Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli scoring 10, 5, and 17 runs, respectively.
Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant’s crucial knocks helped India declare at 287, setting Bangladesh a target of 515. One viral moment from the match was Rishabh Pant being caught on camera praying to his bat before walking out to bat.
Bangladesh, fresh off a win over Pakistan, initially looked strong by reducing India to 144/6. However, partnerships from Ravindra Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin turned the tide.
With help from Jasprit Bumrah, Akash Deep, Mohammed Siraj, and Jadeja, India bowled Bangladesh out for 149, maintaining a commanding lead.
