[Saba Sports News] India captain Rohit Sharma was caught humorously swapping the bails at the batting end during the first Test against Bangladesh in Chennai.
India secured a dominant 280-run victory, bouncing back after a shaky start on day one.
Chasing a target of 515, Bangladesh collapsed for 234, with R Ashwin shining in the final innings, taking six wickets after going wicketless in the first.
Ashwin also contributed a brilliant century in the first innings, partnering with Ravindra Jadeja to rescue India and guide them to 376. His all-round performance earned him the Player of the Match award.
On day 4, Rohit entertained the crowd with his playful antics, swapping the bails and “casting a spell” on the stumps. The focus now shifts to Kanpur for the second Test on September 27.
