[Saba Sports News] Team India recently wrapped up a limited-over series with Sri Lanka, and the players are enjoying a well-deserved break.
While some stars are in vacation mode, India’s Test and ODI captain, Rohit Sharma, had different plans.
True to his unique sense of humor, Rohit spent his downtime catching up with close friends. The Mumbai-based batter shared pictures of the meet-up on social media, sporting training gear and a neon green t-shirt.
He captioned the post “Mandali,” highlighting the importance of friendship in his life.
Among his friends was India’s new assistant coach and close companion, Abhishek Nayar, reflecting the strong bond they share.
Recently, Rohit led India to their second T20 World Cup victory in the West Indies. Now, the 36-year-old is gradually preparing for the upcoming home season, where India will face Bangladesh and New Zealand.
After the home series, the team will travel to Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy later this year.
