A viral video circulating on social media captures the female police officer instructing the spectator to leave, but he refused to comply. After an exchange of words, the situation escalated as the police officer struck the spectator, who retaliated in response. Bystanders eventually intervened to defuse the situation.
On the cricket field, India emerged victorious in a highly anticipated World Cup encounter against Pakistan, winning by seven wickets. Captain Rohit Sharma played a pivotal role, scoring 86 runs off 63 balls. This marked India’s third consecutive victory in the tournament, while Pakistan suffered their first loss after two wins. India’s win also extended their impressive record of eight consecutive World Cup victories over Pakistan, a streak dating back to 1992.
