[Saba Sports News] During the first Test between India and Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai, Virat Kohli and umpire Richard Kettleborough were seen sharing a light-hearted moment during India’s bowling on Saturday.
The 35-year-old cricketer was caught in a happy conversation with Kettleborough in a viral video, just a day after a controversial LBW decision involving the two.
On the previous day, Kettleborough had declared Kohli out LBW, but replays later showed a faint inside edge before the ball hit his pads. Kohli chose not to review the decision after consulting with his batting partner, Shubman Gill.
Kohli has struggled for form in this match, scoring only 6 in the first innings and 17 in the second. His low scores stand out, especially as he returned to Test cricket after skipping the series against England earlier this year due to personal reasons.
Meanwhile, India set a massive target of 515 runs for Bangladesh, with centuries from Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant. Bangladesh ended Day 3 at 158/4, with Najmul Hossain Shanto (51*) and Shakib Al Hasan (5*) set to resume the next day.
