[Saba Sports News] The BBC has reported that Vanessa
Gold, one of the co-chairmen of West Ham United, is open to selling 25% of her
shares in the club. Vanessa Gold is the daughter of David Gold, who formerly
served as co-chairman of West Ham. Following David Gold’s passing earlier this
year, and subsequent passing of other relevant heirs, Vanessa has become the
sole legal heir to her father’s estate and now holds approximately 25% of West
Ham United’s shares. With West Ham United’s recent success in winning the
European Conference Cup last season, marking the team’s first major trophy in
43 years, the club’s market value has reached new heights. Some media outlets
estimate that the market value of this 25% stake could exceed £700 million.
