[Saba Sports News] According to reports from the
British media, the cause of death of the legendary English football star Sir
Bobby Charlton was announced by the coroner at Macclesfield General Hospital.
He passed away due to an accident. It is stated that Sir Charlton had been
receiving treatment at the hospital for various health issues. In October, he
had an unfortunate fall from a chair onto a window sill, resulting in swelling
on his back. After examination, it was discovered that he had fractured ribs
and possibly developed pneumonia, which posed challenges for treatment.
Eventually, the doctors decided that Sir Charlton should receive hospice care,
and he passed away five days later. Sir Charlton had a remarkable career as a
player for Manchester United and was renowned as a “football
gentleman.” Following his retirement, he served as a director for
Manchester United.
