[Saba Sports News] Star Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah shared a heartfelt message for his wife, Sanjana Ganesan, on her birthday. The popular TV presenter celebrated turning 33 on Monday, May 6.
Bumrah and Ganesan exchanged vows on March 15, 2021, in a ceremony held in Goa, attended by their families and close friends. Both have garnered significant fan followings due to their respective talents and skills in their fields. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Angad, in September last year.
“On her birthday, happy birthday to my person, the one who completes me, and with her by my side, the world is a wonderful place. Angad and I wish you the best birthday, with lots of love and cuddles from us,” Bumrah shared on his official social media handle.
Amidst Mumbai Indians’ challenging campaign in the IPL 2024, where they currently sit at No. 10 on the points table with three wins and eight losses in 11 matches, Bumrah has been a standout performer. Despite the team’s struggles, the Ahmedabad-born pacer has consistently showcased his class.
He currently shares the position of the highest wicket-taker in the season with Harshal Patel. Bumrah has taken 17 wickets from 11 matches at an impressive average of 16.12 and a strike rate of 15.47. His economy rate of 6.25 underscores his effectiveness, especially in a season where batsmen have posted formidable scores.
Bumrah’s excellent form bodes well for India ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024 next month. The seasoned campaigner has been included in the 15-member squad set to represent the Men in Blue in the prestigious tournament.
